Bilingual therapy for Latina professionals in Houston and across Texas
Feel deeply.Live calmly.
Helping Latinas unlearn the roles they inherited, so they can stop holding it all together and start feeling at peace.

Meet Nohemi
Rebel. Loyal.Soulful.
Hola, I’m Nohemi, a licensed mental health therapist, a Pilates girl at heart, a Lotería fanatic, and someone who still turns up 90s R&B, reggaetón, and cumbias loudly in my car (safely, I promise).
I specialize in working with Latinas in the middle of their lives, mid 30s to mid 40s, who’ve come so far but can’t shake the feeling that something inside still needs tending.
Nohemi
You’re the one your family is proud of. You graduated, built the house, did exactly what your parents said, study so you never have to depend on anybody, and you did it, even through heartbreak and years of barely scraping by.
But it came at a cost. You’re always racing, rarely as present as you’d like to be, and lately your partner’s words keep surfacing in couples therapy or among friends: “she takes over,” “controlling,” “she keeps going on and on.” Your heart sinks with confusion, then the oh hell no creeps in, because after everything you do, you ARE the glue. How is he this ungrateful?
Here’s what I know: there’s an old cassette still playing. The one from how you were raised, the one where you promised yourself you’d never be taken advantage of again. That’s the one that comes out.
And look, I’m not saying your partner is perfect by any means, he has his own work to do. But you know you have a good man, and you want to keep him, and you want to make it better faster by doing your part.
If you want a girl who can tell you your blind spots in a way that’s kind, makes sense, and comes in zero psychology big words, I’m that cool tía you’re looking for.
I’m committed to helping you turn that alarm system back to normal, so it only goes off when there’s an actual emergency, not every time your partner leaves a dish in the sink. That means learning what’s actually happening in your nervous system, working through what’s underneath it with EMDR, and yes, learning how to say the hard things in a way the people you love can hear instead of you just hearing their defensive.
If you’re tired of feeling disconnected from your partner while nothing changes, and you’re ready to finally put down a rulebook that was never really yours to carry, I’m your person.

Something in you sayscome back to that.
You’ve been scrolling TikTok or Instagram lately, and pictures of your younger self keep popping up. You watch the video, and out of nowhere, you’re crying.
This is the third time you’ve searched for a therapist. Even taking a break from your career has crossed your mind, because lately, it’s just been a lot. You’re snapping at your partner, at your kids, and your patience is wearing thinner by the day.

What you’ve already tried
You’ve vented to your friends, journaled, read the books, taken the trips, even tried the TikTok strategies (yes, those too). The doctors say your labs look normal and chalk the aches up to ‘wear and tear.’ None of it has been enough.

A year from now, if nothing changes, you’re living with a roommate, not the partner who used to be mesmerized by you. You stop sharing your wins, because what’s the point? You used to get lifted up and swirled around, movie style. Now you get the Temu version: ‘Oh. Congrats, babe.’ No emphasis.
You can win every day at work and still lose every night at home.
What you actually wantisn’t complicated.
(but it feels like it, I know)
- A relationship where you both feel safe saying hard things.
- Kids who grow up lighter than you did.
- A life that actually feels like yours, not just one you built because you were supposed to.
Every year you wait without addressing it, that gap gets a little wider.
You are a manifestor, so stuckness stings. You are a romantic, so indifference hurts.

EMDR Therapy & Intensives
Access your mind's natural ability to heal from trauma and anxiety through EMDR. Release what once felt stuck and rediscover calm, clarity, and confidence.
Begin your healing
Not sure which fits? That’s what the consult is for.
How this works
Three steps,no quick fixes.
That’s the work we do together.
Start with a consult
No pressure, no forms, just a conversation. You tell me what’s going on; I tell you honestly whether I’m the right fit for it, and if I’m not, who might be.
Learn your own alarm
You’ll learn the tools to actually understand your nervous system, and we’ll do the EMDR work on what’s really driving the alarm, not just the moment it went off.
Say the hard things
And yes, we’ll work on how to say the hard things to your partner in a way he can actually hear. At home, at Sunday dinner, in the performance review.
I don’t do quick fixes, and I don’t do judgment. I do expect you to get a little uncomfortable, that’s how you know it’s working.
Step one takes about as long as a coffee order.
In this room
Four rules, none of them written down.
I live in dualities
You can love your partner and be annoyed with them. You can be happy for a friend’s win and still feel a little jealous. Both are allowed here, and we explore both.
No excusing your language
If you need to swear to say what you actually mean, go for it. I’m not here to police your words.
Discomfort is part of the work
I expect to ruffle your feathers sometimes, that’s how you know it’s working. You might feel guilty, you might even want to run ‘late’ to your next session. That’s normal, and it doesn’t scare me off.
Your wins get celebrated loudly
Claps, smiles, an enthusiastic ‘great job.’ I speak to the part of you that never got celebrated enough growing up, because I know exactly what that felt like.
